, Hengyun Group is the first state-owned enterprise in Guangdong Province to carry out high-quality development of new energy storage diversification, industrialization and marketization, and the first professional energy storage company in Guangdong Province to configure intelligent energy storage production lines. The first 2GWh new energy storage product production line was formally put into production on June 30, 2023, relying on Hengyun Group's own technology and resource advantages, with a total investment of about 325 million yuan and a total building area of about 6800 square meters, mainly with lithium battery PACK, energy storage integrated system, household energy storage equipment as the product direction, and with a total investment of about 1000 yuan. With the four characteristics of "specialization, refinement, specialty and innovation", the annual production capacity of the integrated line can reach 1GWh, the annual production capacity of the PACK production line can reach 1GWh, and the total annual output value of the two production lines can reach 2 billion yuan.
The project has superior geographical conditions, rooted in Huangpu District of Guangzhou City, a national comprehensive energy demonstration zone, facing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and radiating at home and abroad. The commissioning of the project will play an active role in power regulation and security in the region, make important contributions to the construction of a new regional source-network-load-storage power system, promote the efficient use of energy and achieve the goal of "double carbon", and promote the industrialization and large-scale development of energy storage business in Guangdong Province.
"Compared with the mainstream semi-automatic production line in the industry, the automation degree of PACK line core-module section of Hengyun Energy Storage can reach 90%, which is in the leading position in the national industry," said the responsible person of Hengyun Group. Hengyun Energy Storage Production Line adopts flexible operation island production mode, which integrates assembly, testing and packaging functions. It is compatible with large container energy storage system, medium-sized industrial and commercial energy storage integrated system, small household energy storage system and other scenario energy storage products.
At present, Hengyun Group has invested in the construction of 7.5MWh frequency modulation energy storage power station and 12.2MWh industrial and commercial energy storage power station of Hengyun Power Plant, and has reserved 200MWh industrial and commercial reserve energy power station project and 500MWh independent energy storage power station project, with an estimated total investment of 1.4 billion yuan. It is focusing on the next generation of 1500V liquid-cooled energy storage technology, jointly carrying out the demonstration construction of new all-vanadium redox flow battery technology with the Research Institute of Modern Energy Group, and jointly promoting the transformation and application of new energy storage technology with upstream and downstream enterprises to seize the industrial commanding heights!
