On July 8, in the operation control room of the concrete mixing station of the Kamai Converter Station Project of Jinshang-Hubei ± 800 kV UHVDC Transmission Project, as the operator pressed the production start button, the indicator lights on the screen of the operation room changed from red to green, the motor of the mixing equipment rumbled, and the cement, fine sand and gravel were fully mixed. A transport vehicle filled with concrete slowly drove out, marking the successful completion of the safety commissioning of the project concrete mixing station, and successfully put into operation.
Kamai Converter Station Project is located in the hinterland of Sichuan-Xizang Plateau, which is the highest converter station in China at present. As the only concrete output source of the project, the establishment of supporting mixing station is directly related to the quality and progress of project construction and production.
For this reason, the project department of Kamai Converter Station and the team of Ready-mixed Branch have decided to build small and medium-sized HZS60 mixing station equipment by planning ahead of time and considering the characteristics of the construction site and the surrounding environment. In the process, the project team overcomes the difficulties of narrow access road, difficult supply of important construction materials and lack of oxygen on the plateau, directly "moves" the office to the site, sets up tents on the site, coordinates and refines the weekly, daily and hourly plans, and finally takes less than two months to complete the construction of the whole concrete mixing station. And ensure that the mixing station is completed on schedule and has operating conditions. The successful commissioning of the
concrete mixing station has created favorable conditions for the subsequent slope, pile foundation and on-site temporary construction projects to start on schedule, and also accelerated the smooth progress of the whole project.
