Jishunlin introduced that the total investment of Rudong 100 MWh gravity energy storage project is 1 billion yuan. The project introduces the gravity energy storage technology of the world's leading EV company to build an energy storage tower. The main working principle is to store and distribute renewable energy by lifting and lowering gravity blocks to provide power for the grid or users. Gravity blocks can be made from waste materials such as soil, sand, coal ash and glass fiber for recycling. After the completion of the project, it can be used not only for peak shaving and frequency modulation of power, but also for the storage and utilization of new energy power.
