Involving glass and soda ash industries, the task of national industrial energy conservation supervision has been released

Competent departments of industry and information technology of

all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps:

In accordance with the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Organizing and Launching the Supervision of Industrial Energy Conservation in 2023 (GITTJH [2023] No.86, hereinafter referred to as the Notice), On the basis of the report submitted by the provincial competent departments of industry and information technology, our Ministry has determined the task of national industrial energy conservation supervision in 2023. Relevant matters are notified as follows:

I. Special Energy Conservation Supervision Tasks

Taking into account the characteristics of the industry, the scale of the enterprise, the region where the enterprise is located and the content of the supervision, 4391 enterprises with national industrial energy conservation supervision tasks are determined. Among them, there are 1891 special supervision of energy efficiency in key industries such as iron and steel, petrochemical industry, building materials and non-ferrous metals, 242 special supervision of energy efficiency in key areas such as data centers, 2125 special supervision of energy efficiency in green factories and national green data centers, and 133 special supervision of rectification and implementation of illegal enterprises in 2022 (see Annex 1 for the list).

2. Work requirements

(1) Strengthen the implementation of responsibilities. Local departments in charge of industry and information technology should thoroughly implement the Energy Conservation Law of the People's Republic of China, strengthen the main responsibility, strictly supervise and enforce the law on industrial energy conservation in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Measures for the Administration of Industrial Energy Conservation and the Measures for the Supervision of Industrial Energy Conservation, constantly improve the efficiency of law enforcement, promote enterprises to save energy and improve energy efficiency, and accelerate green and low-carbon development.

(2) Strengthen team building. We will continue to promote the construction of industrial energy-saving supervision system at provincial, municipal and county levels, constantly improve the ability of industrial energy-saving supervision team, give full play to the supporting role of third-party organizations and experts, and strengthen the linkage of departments to ensure high-quality completion of industrial energy-saving supervision tasks.

(3) Ensure the progress of work. In accordance with the time schedule and requirements specified in the Notice, and in accordance with the work manual of industrial energy conservation supervision (see Annex 2), we should organize and carry out on-site supervision, and timely submit the results of supervision and annual work summary report.
