The Preliminary Examination Meeting of National Vocational Skills Standards for Glass Products Processing Workers was held in Jinan, Shandong Province

2023, sponsored by the Light Industry Vocational Ability Evaluation Center of China Light Industry Federation and China Daily Glass Association, and co-sponsored by Shandong Daily Silicate Industry Association and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Qilu University of Technology, the preliminary examination meeting of the National Vocational Skills Standard for Glass Products Processing Workers was held in Jinan City, Shandong Province. From the Vocational Skills Appraisal Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Light Industry Vocational Ability Evaluation Center of China Light Industry Federation, China Daily Glass Association, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Qilu University of Technology, Shandong Daily Silicate Industry Association, Anhui Xinmin Glass Co., Ltd., Sichuan Zhongke Glass Co., Ltd., Shandong Zibo Minkang Pharmaceutical Packaging Co., Ltd. Shandong Huapeng Glass Co., Ltd., Shandong Hongda Glass Products Co., Ltd., Hubei Xinhuaguang Information Materials Co., Ltd., Pujiang Dongzhou Crystal Co., Ltd., Shandong Linuo Special Glass Co., Ltd., Anhui Deli Daily Glass Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Crystal Craft Products Association, Hebei Mingshangde Glass Technology Co., Ltd. A total of 24 leaders and experts from Shandong Yaohua Glass Co., Ltd. participated in the meeting.

The preliminary review meeting was presided over by Chairman Zheng Wuhong of China Daily Glass Association. Comrade Liu Yongpeng, the second-level inspector of the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center and director of the Research and Development Department of the Appraisal Center, stressed that the drafting units and industry experts should revise the national vocational skill standards in accordance with the integrity, hierarchy, standardization, practicability and operability, affirmed the achievements of the compilation group, and pointed out the main direction of the examination and approval work. It explains the basis and principles for the formulation of national occupational standards, and gives detailed guidance on the structure and content of occupational standards. Zhang Tianfen, Director of Evaluation Department of Light Industry Vocational Ability Evaluation Center of China Light Industry Federation, said in his speech that vocational skill standards are an important basis for the training of skilled personnel and lay a solid foundation for the training of skilled personnel in light industry.

The evaluation experts unanimously recommended Zhu Jianqiang, general manager of Anhui Xinmin Glass Co., Ltd., as the leader of the expert evaluation team and presided over the evaluation process. On behalf of Professor Liu Shiquan, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Qilu University of Technology, the compilation expert group reported to the evaluation experts on the ideas and process of compiling professional standards, grade setting and standard content. The experts at the meeting examined and approved the contents of the preliminary draft of the standard one by one, and formed expert review opinions.

The evaluation experts recognized the progress of the standard-setting work, and the compilation team will further improve and revise the standard text according to the evaluation opinions, so as to complete the National Vocational Skills Standard for Glass Products Processing Workers (draft for comments) as soon as possible.
