On July 6, the first demonstration operation of the hydrogen energy Shanghai-Ningbo intercity logistics trunk line was realized : a hydrogen energy heavy truck with a standard load of 49 tons started from Shanghai. After driving 230 kilometers, it entered the Zhenhai Refining and Hydrogenation Demonstration Station of Sinopec in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province for the first time.
This indicates that the normal scale transportation of the "Shanghai-Ningbo" trans-regional hydrogen energy logistics trunk line has mature conditions, and the round-trip radius of the hydrogen energy heavy truck can be increased from 200 km to 400 km, accelerating the formation of the main artery of the hydrogen energy heavy truck logistics transportation in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Compared with the traditional logistics diesel heavy truck, the hydrogen heavy truck uses hydrogen fuel cell with hydrogen as the power source, and the emission is only water, which truly achieves zero carbon emission and zero pollution. It is estimated that each hydrogen heavy truck can reduce carbon emissions by at least 120 tons per year, and the full-load operation of the "hydrogen corridor" is expected to reduce emissions by 3000 tons per year, equivalent to planting more than 150000 trees a year. In addition, with the decrease of cost, the transportation of hydrogen heavy trucks has also begun to have economic effects.
The demonstration "Hydrogen Corridor" is planned to be used to transport polyolefin products from Ningbo to Zhenhai Base in Shanghai. Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Hydrogenation Station cooperates with Kunhua Science and Technology Company, Shanghai Lingang Hydrogenation Station and Zhenhai Petrochemical Logistics Company, the head enterprise of hydrogen fuel cell system, to increase the round-trip radius to 400 kilometers for a hydrogen heavy truck with a full range of more than 400 kilometers, effectively expanding the hydrogen energy in East China. It lays an energy foundation for the operation of cross-regional inter-city hydrogen logistics trunk line.
It is reported that Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company is actively promoting the large-scale application of hydrogen energy passenger transport, hydrogen energy heavy truck and hydrogen energy cold chain transportation, and promoting the continuous improvement of the five major areas of the hydrogen energy industry chain in Ningbo and its surrounding areas, namely, hydrogen energy preparation, hydrogen energy storage and transportation, hydrogen fuel cell production, hydrogenation stations and hydrogen energy vehicles.
Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company is the largest integrated refining and chemical enterprise of Sinopec, the executive director unit of CCPit. It is rich in hydrogen energy resources, with a total hydrogen production capacity of 653,000 standard cubic meters per hour and 25,000 standard cubic meters per hour of high-purity hydrogen available for delivery. At present, Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company has accelerated the construction of demonstration sites of hydrogen energy industry chain in East China of Sinopec. Since the first hydrogenation demonstration station in Ningbo was built in 2021, it has continuously enriched and integrated the application of hydrogen energy integrated industrial scenarios of "production, transportation, storage, addition and utilization", and promoted the entry of all relevant parties in the hydrogen energy industry chain.
Sinopec has accelerated the building of "China's first hydrogen energy company". The company has established a hydrogen energy industry chain covering "manufacturing, storage, transportation and research". In February this year, the world's largest green hydrogen coupling coal chemical project, the demonstration project of landscape integration green hydrogen in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, was launched . The demonstration project of 20000 tons/year green hydrogen in Kuqa, Xinjiang, successfully produced hydrogen, and the "West-to-East Hydrogen Transmission" pipeline was incorporated into the national planning. In terms of hydrogen transportation, nine hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply centers have been built successively, and 101 hydrogen stations have been built, and the number of hydrogen stations in construction and operation ranks first in the world.
