China Cement Network, brought the theme report of "Oxygen Enrichment in Cement Kiln Needs Dialectical Thinking". He said that oxygen-enriched calcination has many advantages:
First, oxygen-enriched calcination can improve the activity of fuel coal, thereby improving the combustion rate of coal and its burnout rate; Secondly, oxygen-enriched calcination can reduce the ignition point of coal, improve the concentration of combustion and flame intensity, thereby reducing the marginal loss of combustion and increasing the utilization rate of combustion heat; Thirdly, oxygen-enriched calcination can increase the absolute temperature of the flame, thereby increasing the combustion temperature and reducing the loss in the heat transfer process; Fourthly, oxygen-enriched calcination can improve the flame blackness, thereby improving the radiation intensity and strengthening the radiation heat transfer, and radiation is the main heat transfer mode in the cement rotary kiln.


Jia Huaping emphasized that in order to break the shackles of existing experience with dialectical thinking, oxygen enrichment is not the key to the oxygen-enriched calcination of cement kilns, but only requires reliable equipment operation and stable gas oxygen content. The key is calcination, "calcination" is the professional and responsibility of cement producers, lack of experience should be explored and summarized by themselves.
