Completion of the first pile cap of the main pier of the longest span cable-stayed bridge on the Huaihe River

On March 9, after 35 hours of continuous struggle, the first pile cap of the main pier of Linhuaiguan Bridge across the Huaihe River, the control project of the G329 Fengyang-Bengbu Rerouting Project, which was constructed by the Fourth Bureau of China Railway, was completed, marking that the construction of the main pier of the bridge has entered a visual stage and providing a prerequisite for the next step of the main pier. The rerouting project

of G329 Fengyang-Bengbu Section starts from Zongpu Town, Fengyang County, crosses the Huaihe River to the north and connects to X031 County Road, Linbei Township, Wuhe County, with a total length of 29 kilometers and six lanes in both directions. The total length of the 01 section of the line constructed by the Fourth Bureau of China Railway is 1.774 kilometers, including 530 meters of bridges. After the completion of the

bridge, it will be the largest span cable-stayed bridge on the Huaihe River, and the span of its hybrid girder structure, which integrates concrete side girder, steel beam and precast deck, will be the largest in the world. The main pier bearing platform of the bridge is a separate rectangular structure, with a single bearing platform 16.8 meters long, 16.8 meters wide and 6 meters high, which is almost the size of a standard basketball court. The total concrete volume of the right bearing platform of the main pier poured this time is about 1700 cubic meters. After the completion of

the G329 Fengyang-Bengbu rerouting project, it will promote the implementation of the strategy of the Huaihe River Eco-economic Zone, which is of great significance to further improve the regional highway transport network and promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta integration.
