On July 6, the "2023 China Cement Energy Conservation and New Energy Development Conference" sponsored by China Cement Network was held in Chongqing, a mountain city. Zhang Zhenkun, Chairman of
China Cement Network and CEO of Asia Cement (China) Holding Company, delivered a brilliant speech entitled "New Thinking on Production and Operation of Current Cement Building Materials Industry". He pointed out that with the rapid development of China's economy, the demand for cement will show a downward trend. By 2060, the per capita cement consumption will be about 400 kg/person/year, reaching the level of developed countries. In the future, the competition of cement plants will change from "quantity" to "quality". In the fierce competition, the number of cement kiln production lines will decrease year by year.
Zhang Zhenkun said that the production line has the following measures to save energy and reduce consumption: First, raw material grinding , vertical mill uses ceramic roller sleeve and ceramic millstone to increase external circulation and save electricity; roller press uses column nail roller. The second is the grinding of pulverized coal. Hot air is taken from the kiln tail. The hot air is used for deashing to avoid the depletion of the calorific value of pulverized coal. The vertical mill is used for grinding. The ceramic roller sleeve and the ceramic grinding disc are used. Thirdly, clinker calcination , namely, secondary and tertiary air temperature improvement, short kiln thin material fast burning, large thrust burner, oxygen-enriched combustion and nano thermal insulation material. Fourth, cement grinding , large roller press + small ball mill; ceramic ball; ceramic liner, separate grinding to improve particle distribution (workability) and reduce clinker ratio.
Zhang Zhenkun emphasized that with the decrease of cement demand, the output of rotary kiln is not the higher the better, but to find the best output, to achieve the lowest cost and the best quality. At the same time, we should not only produce high-quality cement, but also produce high-performance concrete, from cement, aggregate, machine-made sand, admixture, concrete and other aspects to make a long and wide industrial chain, enhance brand value and improve the overall operating results.
