Qilianshan Cement is planning to build a 5000t/d cement clinker production line.

On July 3, the Gansu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued the Announcement on the Merger and Relocation Plan of the Circular Economy Industrial Construction Project of Longnan Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd. The construction project is a 5000t/d cement clinker production line, which is planned to be ignited and put into operation in June 2025. The withdrawal projects are one 2500t/d clinker production line of Longnan Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd. and one of Wenxian Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd.

in accordance with the Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Resolving the Serious Contradiction of Overcapacity (Guo Fa [2013] No.41), the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Issuing the Implementation Measures for Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology [2021] No.80), Measures for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry issued by the Department of Raw Material Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on July 21, 2021 According to the requirements of "Interpretation", after the application of enterprises and the preliminary examination of Longnan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and in accordance with the "Reply to the Project of Merging and Relocating Cement Clinker Production Line" of the Department of Raw Materials Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the merger and relocation plan of the circular economy industry construction project of Longnan Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd. is now publicized from July 3, 2023 to July 14, 2023. 1. The production capacity of the relocation project is determined according to the project approval documents.

2. Longnan Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd. is located in Huiyazi Community, Wudu District, Longnan City, within the planning scope of the main urban area, and is a "factory in the city"; Wenxian Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd. is located in Xinguan Village, Shijiba Township, Wenxian County, Longnan City, and the factory area is close to Baishui River, a tributary of Jialing River, where floods and geological disasters occur frequently. Based on the above reasons, Longnan Nonmetal Ten Billion Industrial Cluster Planning and other plans have proposed the relocation of the above two production lines, and the land and space planning of Wudu District and Wenxian County involving the above factories has been adjusted at the municipal level.
