Hydrogen energy is a kind of secondary energy with abundant sources, green, low carbon and wide application, and is gradually becoming one of the important carriers of energy transformation and development. Recently, the first integrated project of green hydrogen production, storage and utilization in Xinjiang, the Green Hydrogen Energy Innovation and Application Project in Yining City, Yili Prefecture, was officially launched.
This is the first innovative application project in Xinjiang to integrate the production, storage and utilization of clean, low-carbon and green hydrogen energy. The total investment of the project is 1.922 billion yuan. A new hydrogen plant with a hydrogen production capacity of 12000 Nm3 /H, four hydrogen stations with a daily filling capacity of 2 tons, and 247 fuel cell vehicles such as heavy trucks, dump trucks, forklifts, loaders and bulldozers will be built.
The project is planned to be completed by December 2025, which will form a virtuous circle of green energy production and local absorption, form the upstream and downstream industrial chain and industrial ecology of hydrogen energy and hydrogen fuel cells, effectively transform the natural resources of scenery in Yili Prefecture into the strategic emerging industrial advantages of sustainable development, and will also be from the energy side, the industrial side and the industrial side. Form an end-to-end "zero emission" to help Xinjiang achieve the goal of "double carbon".
It is understood that in June this year, the project of "Green Hydrogen Energy Innovation and Application Project in Yining City, Yili Prefecture" was formally approved and supported by the National Development and Reform Commission. Jointly applied by Yining Lianchuang City Construction (Group) Co., Ltd. and Beijing Yihuatong Science and Technology Co., Ltd., the project is also the first innovative application project approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in Xinjiang to utilize clean, low-carbon and green hydrogen energy.
It is reported that in order to promote the high-quality development of hydrogen energy industry, the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region, based on the development situation of hydrogen energy industry, earnestly studied the practical experience of advanced provinces (districts and cities) at home and abroad, actively carried out the special declaration of "unveiling the list and taking the lead" in the field of hydrogen energy, and accelerated the major demonstration projects in conjunction with the departments of ecological environment and emergency management. We will accelerate the formulation of relevant policies in the field of hydrogen energy, give full play to the enthusiasm of various investors, and actively and orderly promote the development of hydrogen energy industry agglomeration.
