According to the introduction, the total land area of the project is about 600 mu, which is divided into two phases of construction, with a total investment of about 5.8 billion yuan . Among them, the first phase is the production line construction project of 200,000 tons/year new energy battery cathode raw materials and 185,000 tons/year related products, which can produce 200,000 tons of nickel sulfate annually after completion, as well as related products such as electrodeposited nickel and other by-products. After the completion of the second phase of the project, 900MWH all-vanadium liquid flow energy storage power station equipment and supporting products can be produced .
This project belongs to the strategic emerging industry that the state focuses on cultivating and developing, which is of great significance to the development of green low-carbon economy, the optimization of Zhoushan's industrial structure, and the realization of "extending, supplementing and strengthening the chain" of the industrial chain.
