of Wushen Banner on the Prohibition of Sand and Gravel Mining within the Management Scope of Rivers and Lakes in the Whole Banner According to the actual situation of the management and protection of rivers and lakes in our Banner, our Banner has decided to prohibit sand and gravel mining within the management scope of rivers and lakes in the whole area of Wushen Banner.

In order to give full play to the role of social supervision and severely crack down on illegal sand mining in rivers, according to the Water Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Yellow River, the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on River Management, the Regulations on the Protection and Management of Rivers and Lakes in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Regulations on the Management of the Yellow River in Ordos City, etc. In combination with the actual situation of Wushen Banner, the notice on the prohibition of sand and gravel mining within the management scope of rivers and lakes in our banner is as follows:

I. Within the management scope of rivers and lakes in Wushen Banner, all sand mining, sand storage without license and sand and gravel sales are illegal.

2. Any citizen is obliged to report illegal sand mining, illegal sand storage and illegal sale of sand and gravel within the scope of the management of rivers and lakes in our banner, regardless of the quantity.

3. The informer shall provide the detailed address and basic factual information of the reported matters, and provide relevant images, photographs and other information as far as possible.

4. Informers who fabricate facts, frame others and disrupt normal law enforcement activities shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities.

5. Units receiving reports shall give certain rewards to informants in the process of investigating and dealing with major cases of illegal sand mining and keep them confidential.
