On March 8, the concrete pouring of the cast-in-place beam of the first span of ramp D of Changpingzi Bridge on JN4 section of G4216 Jinyang-Ningnan Expressway, a national key poverty alleviation project constructed by the Second Company of the Fourth Bureau of China Railway, was completed, which marked a big step forward in the construction period of the project node.
G4216 Jinyang-Ningnan Expressway is located in the Jinsha River area at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. It starts from Lugao Town, Jinyang County, Liangshan Prefecture, passes through Chunjiang Township, Duiping Town and Baihetan Town, Jinyang County, and ends at the south side of Ningnan County, with a total length of 95.991 km. Among them, the Second Company of the Fourth Bureau of China Railway undertakes the construction task of 8.15 kilometers of JN4 bid, which is located in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the largest Yi inhabited area in China, along the Jinsha River, mainly including 3.97 kilometers of double-width tunnels, 4.18 kilometers of main line bridges and the complex of the interchange service area. The total cost is 910 million yuan and the planned construction period is 46 months.
It is reported that the G4216 Jin (Yang) Ning (South) Expressway Project is the largest single investment expressway project under construction in the history of China's expressways. It is of great significance for Sichuan to promote the overall development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Belt and Road Initiative, and to expand effective investment, stabilize economic growth and promote rural revitalization in ethnic minority areas.
