With the explosive growth of hazardous waste projects, how to refine the operation of co-disposal of hazardous waste in cement kilns?

In recent years, the co-disposal of hazardous wastes in cement kilns in China has shown explosive growth.

High efficiency, green, recycling and low carbon have become the goals and important characteristics of the future development of modern industrial system. In recent years, the cement industry has made great progress in pollutant emission reduction and green development. As an important supplementary means of solid waste and hazardous waste disposal, cement kiln co-disposal has also gained a lot of favor. & nbsp; & nbsp;

With the deepening and escalation of the battle against pollution, more and more cement enterprises have joined the ranks of the construction of hazardous waste co-disposal projects in cement kilns. China Cement Network and Li Chunping, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Hongshi Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., learned that in recent years, China's cement kiln co-disposal of hazardous waste projects have shown explosive growth.

According to the statistics of Cement Big Data Research Institute, before 2015, only 16 cement enterprises in China had obtained hazardous waste business licenses. However, by the end of August 2022, the national cement kiln co-disposal capacity of hazardous waste (excluding domestic waste, sludge, contaminated soil, etc.) reached 14 million tons per year, involving 227 cement clinker production lines. Except for Xizang, other provinces in China have the capacity of co-processing hazardous wastes in cement kilns. Compared

with traditional hazardous waste incinerators, cement kiln co-processing has the advantages of high incineration temperature, large incineration space, long incineration retention time, stable incineration state, alkaline environment atmosphere and low investment cost. However, in the field of co-disposal of hazardous waste and other technologies, cement enterprises are still facing many challenges. & nbsp; & nbsp;

Li Chunping said: "Compared with 2015, the capacity of enterprises to co-dispose hazardous wastes in cement kilns has been greatly improved, but the disposal technology for materials with high sulfur, high chlorine and high cadmium is still in the exploratory stage.". At present, it mainly starts from the two aspects of flue gas front-end preparation and flue gas control.

It is understood that in 2022, the proportion of materials containing high sulfur, high chlorine and high cadmium in hazardous wastes received by cement enterprises will reach more than 30%, and the complexity of hazardous waste types will continue to increase. How to develop new treatment technologies has become a new direction for cement enterprises to co-dispose hazardous wastes. & nbsp; & nbsp;

Work hard and go far. China Cement Network will hold the "2023 China Cement Industry Summit" in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, on March 15-16, 2023, with the theme of "Strong Confidence, Breakthrough and Development". Experts, cement and related enterprises are invited to discuss in depth the macroeconomic trend and the development direction of the cement industry. At that time, Li Chunping, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Red Lion Environmental Protection, will be a special guest to share the theme report of "Fine Operation of Cement Kiln Co-disposal of Hazardous Waste".

The title is "Cement and Clinker Inventory Statistics". The statistics include the data of storage location (%), year-on-year storage location (percentage point) and month-on-month storage location (percentage point) of clinker and cement in different regions of the country on July 25. In terms of clinker, the data of different regions are different. The change value of year-on-year storage location in East China is considerable, and the change value of month-on-month storage location in Northeast China is relatively obvious. In terms of cement, the change value of year-on-year storage location in Southwest China is more prominent, and the change value of month-on-month storage location in Central and South China is relatively small.
