On June 30, China Railway 11th Bureau, China Railway Construction Urban Development Co., Ltd. and China Railway Construction Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. won the bid for the comprehensive development project of the eastern industrial core area of Wuhan Aerospace Base with a total investment of 9.155 billion yuan. This project is one of the four sub-development projects of Wuhan Aerospace Base, the first commercial aerospace industry base in China, and is also the first time that China Railway Construction Corporation has participated in the investment and construction of commercial aerospace base, w hich has important strategic significance.
The project is
located in Xinzhou District of Wuhan, adjacent to the Yangtze River New Area and Guanggu Vice-City, close to the Yangtze River in the south, with superior location conditions and convenient transportation. The total land area is about 10.52 square kilometers. It is one of the largest and highest investment development projects acquired by the 11th Bureau of China Railway in Hubei Province. It has laid a good foundation for the subsequent expansion of investment projects, and is also an important breakthrough for the development and operation of the city and the promotion of the national layout development strategy.

consortium will provide integrated development, construction and operation for the eastern part of the base through the implementation of "investment + construction + operation", provide service consultation, land acquisition and demolition, investment in infrastructure and public service facilities and industrial facilities in the early stage, and assist in attracting investment in the later stage. Promote more diversified investment in industrial resources, promote overall development, and carry out construction and operation services such as infrastructure, public service facilities, industrial facilities investment, maintenance and management within the scope of cooperation, so as to help the construction of Wuhan Aerospace Industry New Town.
It is understood that Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base is one of the three national aerospace industry bases approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. Wuhan has formulated a three-year action plan for the development of commercial aerospace industry, which is expected to build a 100 billion industrial aerospace ecosphere in the future. After the completion of the project, it will strongly promote the further improvement of various facilities in Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base, promote the building of industrial clusters in the base and enhance the value of the area, and play an important role in accelerating the construction of Xinzhou City Node of Wuhuang Integration in Xinzhou District and promoting the construction of a large corridor of scientific and technological innovation on both sides of the Yangtze River in Wuhan.
