At present, as the largest construction aggregate project under construction in Guangdong Province, the granite mine project for construction in Guanyinshan Mining Area, Duyang Town, Yunan District, Yunfu City, is accelerating its construction, which will become a large-scale green mine pilot demonstration project in the sand and gravel industry of Guangdong Province, and set up a new business card of "green sand and gravel" and "smart mine" in Yunfu.

Reporters at the project site saw that part of the road slope that can be passed by the project has been restored to green, and the construction personnel are carrying out slope treatment, road excavation, tunnel excavation and other work. The designed available resources of granite for construction in the project are 228 million cubic meters, the production scale of the mine is 13.5 million cubic meters per year, and the total service life is 20 years. The project mainly includes four parts: mine development system, production and processing system, corridor transportation system and finished product export terminal, which will build a green mine benchmark.

It is reported that with the development of the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Zone and the steady progress of the national strategy of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, it is estimated that the total demand for sand and gravel aggregates in Guangdong Province will be about 1.4 billion tons per year, with a gap of up to 600 million tons. After the completion of the Guanyinshan Project, it will become a large green aggregate supply base in Guangdong Province. Relying on the high-quality building materials aggregate produced by the project, it can drive the development of green building materials industries such as PC components, building mortar, environmental protection brick making, and provide strong support for the construction of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Basin Economic Belt and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
