In order to draw lessons from Alashan open-pit mine accident in Inner Mongolia and prevent similar accidents in Shangluo City, Shangluo Emergency Management Bureau carried out a one-month investigation and renovation of non-coal mine safety production in the whole city.
On March 7, Deputy Director Yang Guofeng led a team to carry out special supervision and inspection on slope management of open-pit mines in Luonan County and Shangzhou District.
This investigation and rectification is composed of the self-inspection of non-coal mining enterprises and the inspection of supervision departments. The self-inspection stage of enterprises has been carried out according to the requirements. The safety supervision departments at the municipal and county levels have carried out the inspection of the safety production of non-coal mining enterprises at different levels. All enterprises with potential safety hazards have been closed down and rectified, and the procedures for resumption of production have been strictly implemented. For those who do not meet the requirements of the resumption procedures or fail to meet the conditions for safe production, they shall resolutely refuse to resume production, so as to ensure the stability of the situation of safe production during the peak period of resumption of production and the National "Two Sessions".
