According to the relevant requirements of the Notice on Strengthening the Management of River Sand Mining in the City during the Spring Festival and the "Two Sessions" issued by the Jiujiang Sand Mining Office, on March 7, the Municipal Sand Mining Administration, in conjunction with the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, the Municipal Yangtze River Joint Law Enforcement Team and the Hukou County and Pengze County Joint Law Enforcement Team, carried out a joint law enforcement inspection of sand mining cities and counties in the Yangtze River.
The city's joint law enforcement teams patrol along the Yangtze River from Yongan section to Jiangxinzhou, Balijiang and Hongguang sections, and the joint law enforcement teams of Hukou County and Pengze County respond and cooperate in the waters under their respective jurisdictions to board and inspect the passing sand carriers. In the waters of Hongguang Wharf, an on-site working meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Municipal Sand Administration Bureau, and the law enforcement teams reported on the recent work of cracking down on illegal sand mining, and exchanged and communicated the difficulties in the work and the next step. this year, the city's joint law enforcement team has conducted 296 patrols, 2025 law enforcement officers, 196 vehicles, 252 ships, 4015 kilometers of river length, 1317 square kilometers of water area, found 4 illegal acts and filed 4 cases.
Next, the Municipal Sand Administration will continue to work with relevant departments to strengthen law enforcement and inspection, maintain the high-pressure situation of special regulation of river sand mining and illegal sand mining, and ensure the safety of the waters under its jurisdiction.
