From October 24 to 25, the World Cement Association (WCA) 2023 Annual Congress was held in Dubai. Huaxin, as the first completion unit, and Li Yeqing, as the first completion person, won the only innovation award of WCA this year for the project of "Development and Application of Low Carbon and Nitrogen Reduction Super Large-scale Cement Production Technology and Equipment".
The 2023 World Cement Association Annual Conference aims to invite global cement industry leaders, internationally renowned experts and scholars to gather around the hot topics of global cement industry prospects and market conditions, new technologies for emission reduction and consumption reduction, material and product innovation, and sustainable development to discuss in depth the development path and mode of the industry. Take the road of green and low-carbon development of cement industry, and contribute to the global double-carbon goal of building materials industry. At the meeting, Li Yeqing and leaders of cement enterprises from other countries focused on the theme of "2040 Cement Industry", and exchanged and shared the development direction of cement industry and the concept of green low-carbon.
Huaxin's "Development and Application of Low Carbon and Nitrogen Reduction Super Large-scale Cement Production Technology and Equipment" project has created many important technological innovations, and for the first time in Huaxin Huangshi Plant, the 10000-ton main equipment has been completely localized. It has developed the world's largest clinker cooler, single cement combined grinding system and other main equipment, and has become the only project of the World Cement Association to win the Innovation Award this year.
In recent years, Huaxin has adhered to the development concept of green low-carbon building materials in the whole life cycle, continued to increase investment in pollution reduction, carbon reduction, energy saving and consumption reduction, vigorously expanded the cement integration business and new building materials business, continuously reduced the carbon emission intensity of the main products, accelerated the pace of green transformation, and contributed to the sustainable development of the cement industry. Established in 2016, the
World Cement Association (WCA) is the first global non-profit organization representing the cement industry and its stakeholders. It is committed to building a platform for communication, promoting technological innovation and structural adjustment of the entire cement industry, and achieving the goal of double carbon in the global cement industry, so as to make positive contributions to the sustainable development of the world cement industry.
