On June 29, Sinoma International announced that the company and the Ethiopian Branch of Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a general contract for the second-line project of 5000TPD clinker production of Deba Midlock Cement Co., Ltd. The total value of the contract is US $290.85 million (about RMB 2.1 billion at the exchange rate of the People's Bank of China on June 29, 2023).
The project is located in the town of Deba, Oromia, Ethiopia. The content of the contract is to build a new clinker cement production line with a daily output of 5000 tons from limestone crushing to the delivery of packaged cement products and supporting projects, covering engineering design, equipment procurement and supply, civil construction, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, commissioning, personnel training, etc. On July 6-7,
