Recently, the reporter learned from the Huizhou Jinshan Lake No.1 Bridge Project Department of Guangzhou Bureau of China Railway that the construction of Jinshan Lake No.1 Bridge has entered the stage of concrete pouring for the abutment, which is an important node of the project construction. The project plans to complete the construction of the abutment on both sides of the East and West by the end of June this year, and then enter the erection of the main steel girder segment of the bridge. The main body of the steel beam will be closed in January next year. It is planned to open to traffic in 2024.
At 8 P. m., the abutment of Jinshan Lake No.1 Bridge began to be poured. According to reports, Jinshanhu Bridge includes two single-span deck steel box arch bridges, No.1 and No.2. The design net span of the two bridges is 196 meters and 200 meters respectively, which exceeds the previous maximum span of 180 meters of the same type of bridge in China, ranking the top two in the country. At the project site, more than a dozen large concrete tank trucks shuttled on the construction site. On the construction site of the bridge abutment of more than 1,600 square meters, workers cooperated with each other to accurately pour the concrete in place. Deng Zijing, deputy project manager of Jinshan Lake No.1 Bridge of
China Railway Guangzhou Bureau, said, At present, the concrete pouring construction of No.0 abutment is under way. The bridge is designed with two inclined abutments, 44.61 meters long, 36 meters wide and 4.5 meters high. The concrete volume of a single abutment has reached 7300 cubic meters. The construction is difficult, the plan is to pour in three layers, the whole abutment is 4.5 meters high, the first plan is to pour 2 meters high, the second layer is 1.5 meters high, the third layer is 1 meter high, the whole first layer pouring takes about two days and two nights.
Jinshan Lake No.1 Bridge is located on the west side of Jinshan Lake Island in Jinshan Lake Area, Huicheng District, Huizhou City. It starts at the intersection of Hengyi Road and the south section of Huanhu 3rd Road, and ends at the intersection of Hengyi Road and the southwest section of Huanhu 1st Road. The bridge deck is designed as a two-way six-lane road with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour. The project is scheduled to complete the construction of all abutments by the end of June, and start the erection of the main steel girder segments. It is expected that the closure of the main steel girder will be completed by the end of January next year.
Jinshan Lake No.1 Bridge and No.2 Bridge are key projects in our city, with a total investment of 460 million yuan. The project will be constructed in August 2022 and is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024. At present, the main accesses to Jinshan Lake area are Sanhuan South Road and Jinshan Avenue. With the increasing traffic flow, the completion of No.1 Bridge and No.2 Bridge in Jinshan Lake area will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure in this area.
