On March 3, with the completion of the last concrete pouring, the main concrete structure of Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center Phase V (hereinafter referred to as "Exhibition Phase V") was fully capped, which is a step forward from the official "appearance".

Standing on the roof bearing plate of the North District of the fifth phase of the exhibition, the reporter saw that the concrete pouring operation was being carried out in a tense and orderly manner. After the concrete was transported to the roof through the pump pipe, more than ten workers used shovels to spread, pave and vibrate the concrete. After the concrete pouring was completed, the workers began to cover and cure the concrete that had been poured.

At present, the steel structure works in the south area have been fully completed, the curtain wall works have been completed by more than 80%, and the mechanical and electrical installation and decoration works have been completed by more than 60%; the steel structure works in the north area have entered the final stage, the curtain wall works have been completed by more than 40%, and the mechanical and electrical installation and decoration works have been completed by more than 30%. To this end, with the help of professional software, the project management team sets out the components, crane stations and truss assembly positions before hoisting, so as to ensure the smooth progress of each hoisting operation.

It is reported that after the completion of the project as a whole, the total exhibition area of Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center will exceed 200000 square meters, and its scale and function will be more reasonable and perfect, which is of great significance for Xiamen to build a "famous international exhibition city" and a "model city of China's exhibition" with high standards, and will also help to build a balanced development of the exhibition industry inside and outside the island.
