Trina Solar 210R Supreme 580W series modules arrived in Sichuan to help Xigu and Xieka Hydropower Station water-light complementary photovoltaic power station projects.

Recently, a special train loaded with Trina Solar 210R Supreme 580 W series components arrived in Sichuan from Jiangsu Province to supply Xigu and Xieka Hydropower Stations in Jiulong County, Ganzi Xizangan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The total installed capacity of the

project is 463.18 MW. After careful consideration, the customer, China Power Construction Sichuan Jiulong New Energy Co., Ltd., decided to adopt all the Extreme 580 W series high-efficiency modules based on Trina Solar's innovative 210R rectangular silicon wafer technology.

The project is located in Jiulong County, Sichuan Province, which is located in the southern edge of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, with undulating terrain and great disparity in elevation. It has abundant water resources. The annual runoff of the main rivers, including the Jiulong River, is 15.56 billion cubic meters, which has great development potential. Among them, Xigu Hydropower Station and Xieka Hydropower Station are built in the Jiulong River Basin, both of which are "leading reservoir" power stations.

This project adopts the mode of complementary water and light, which is one of the important development projects to build a national clean energy base in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is of great significance to the base, intensive and large-scale development of photovoltaic resources and the accumulation of clean energy experience. last year, Trina Solar took the lead in introducing a new generation of 210R rectangular silicon wafer components (2384 * 1134 mm), and after accumulating nearly a year's experience in mass production and wide global installation and application, in March this year, it fully disclosed the 210R product solutions and industrialization feasibility path to the industry for the first time. The 2384 * 1134 mm is quickly becoming the benchmark size for medium format components. According to media reports, the major component manufacturers at the SNEC exhibition exhibited 2384 * 1134mm or similar size products, which means that the industry has reached a consensus on the "best size" range of the medium version.
