on June 25, and Pangu Naxiang's sodium-ion battery R & D headquarters and manufacturing base project signed a contract to land in Xishan. With a total investment of 2.62 billion yuan and a planned land area of 200 mu, the project will build a sodium-ion battery research and development center and a 5GWh production line, which is expected to achieve annual sales of more than 3 billion yuan and annual tax revenue of more than 250 million yuan.
Xishan District has 124 regulated electric vehicle enterprises, and the output of two-wheeled electric vehicles accounts for one third of the country, which is an excellent market for the application of sodium electricity. It is reported that Pangu Naxiang has completed the production line of sodium-ion battery system and process verification. The material system (positive and negative materials, electrolyte, etc.) And process route of the first generation of sodium battery products have completed the internal evaluation and small batch trial production stage in early 2023, and will soon enter the pilot line of sodium battery products.

China Power Construction Sodium Battery Pilot Line Project Settled in Botou
on June 17, Hebei Botou Economic Development Zone Management Committee and China Power Construction Group Jiangxi Hydropower Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. signed the "Sodium Ion Battery Pilot Line and National Energy Storage Demonstration Experimental Platform Project", with a total planned investment of 2.3 billion yuan. According to the
data, the project includes two parts: one is the sodium-ion battery pilot line and 4G watt energy storage equipment production project, with a total investment of 600 million yuan and a planned area of 150 mu, which mainly produces sodium-ion battery pilot line production, PACK line equipment, container-type energy storage equipment, household energy storage equipment and other products. The annual production scale is 4GW (about 800 sets of energy storage equipment), mainly including production workshop, assembly workshop, sodium-ion battery pilot line production workshop and R & D office facilities. After the completion of the project, the annual sales revenue is expected to be 2 billion yuan and the tax is expected to be 60 million yuan.
The second is the construction project of 2 × 500MW independent energy storage power station, with a total investment of 1.7 billion yuan, covering an area of 50 mu. New sodium ion, lithium ion, compressed air and vanadium liquid flow energy storage equipment can fully absorb the surplus wind and photovoltaic energy and meet the peak shaving needs of the State Grid.
