Qibin Transparent Glass-Ceramic Production Line Project Ignition and Production

Chen Huiqing announced that the transparent glass-ceramic production line project of Hunan Qibin New Materials Co., Ltd. was ignited and put into operation in Liling. Qibin Group is a large glass enterprise group integrating R & D, production and sales of float glass sheets, energy-saving building glass, photovoltaic glass, electronic glass and pharmaceutical glass. In recent years, it has accelerated its entry into high-end glass products. Hunan Qibin New Materials Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of the group.

The transparent glass-ceramic production line project is one of the ten key technical projects in Zhuzhou City, covering the large-scale production of high-strength special glass-ceramic screen protection glass and the integrated research and development of complete manufacturing technology, aiming at breaking the exclusive monopoly of overseas related companies and realizing the mass localization of high-performance glass-ceramic cover glass materials. The transparent microcrystalline continuous production technology developed by the company will break through the technical barriers to the production of ultra-thin electronic microcrystalline glass and build the first continuous microcrystalline protective glass production line in China. After the project is put into operation, it will form a production capacity of 2 to 5 tons per day, and build the first technology demonstration and application base for industrial mass production of high-performance microcrystalline electronic glass in China.

Zhang Baizhong said that from the ignition and commissioning of the second production line of electronic glass in July last year to the ignition and commissioning of the transparent glass-ceramic production line, it showed not only the speed of Qibin, but also the determination and confidence of Qibin to take root in Zhuzhou's development. Qibin Group will continue to promote the transformation of glass industry to deep processing, intelligent manufacturing and high-end application, make every effort to promote the development of transparent glass-ceramic industry, and strive to make greater contributions to Zhuzhou's "three highlands" and Liling's decisive battle to win the "100 billion era".
