On June 26, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued a circular on public solicitation of opinions on the Guiding Opinions on Promoting Green and Low Carbon Risk Control and Remediation of Soil Pollution (Draft for Opinions).
In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and speed up the green and low-carbon development in the field of risk control and remediation of soil pollution, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Soil Pollution, the 14th Five-Year Plan for Eco-environmental Protection, and the Implementation Plan for the Synergy of Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has drafted the Guiding Opinions on Promoting Green Low Carbon Risk Control and Remediation of Soil Pollution (Draft for Comments), which is now open for comments. The draft and its drafting instructions can be retrieved and consulted in the "Opinion Collection" section of the website of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
All organs, organizations, trade associations, enterprises, institutions and individuals can put forward opinions and suggestions. Relevant comments and suggestions should be fed back to our department in writing, and electronic documents should be sent to the contact mailbox at the same time. The deadline for consultation is July 10, 2023.
