国庆节后，因原材料价格持续上调，水泥成本增加，加之气温条件适宜，各地工程项目进入密集赶工期，多地企业涨价意愿强烈。而在一片推涨声中，湖北市场却显得有点“冷清”。
据中国水泥网行情数据中心消息，9月26-27日武汉及鄂州、黄石、黄冈、襄阳等地区部分企业通知上调水泥价格20-30元/吨，但实际落实在10-20元/吨，部分存在未执行的情况。
“节后湖北市场没有太大波动，价格涨不动，也降不了。”武汉一水泥企业表示，水泥价格涨不动的原因在于湖北当地水泥需求依旧没有太大起色，降不了的原因在于煤价上涨，水泥成本也增加，“节前煤价900多，现在到厂1200元/吨左右了。”该企业表示。
市场需求弱，水泥生产成本又在增加，湖北当地水泥企业的稳健发展面临极大挑战。如何应对如此境况？湖北一水泥企业人士曾明确指出，“大企业要有大担当才好办，只有大家一起共同应对当前需求下滑的情况，才有可能走出困境。”
而从目前来看，2023年的湖北水泥行业若想“翻身”，更是困难重重了。
