On June 21, Ji'an Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau and the Municipal Public Security Bureau held a joint meeting on river sand mining. Kuang Hanbin, deputy director of the Forest Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Zong Jinwu, a sixth-level staff member of the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, and relevant comrades from the Forest Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Municipal Water Administration Supervision Detachment attended the meeting.

Kuang Hanbin introduced the establishment and functions and responsibilities of the Forest Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, reported the work of linking up the execution of illegal sand mining in rivers in 2022, and put forward suggestions for further strengthening joint law enforcement, deepening the connection of execution and severely punishing sand-related crimes in 2023.

Zong Jinwu welcomed Kuang Hanbin and his delegation to Ji'an Water Conservancy Bureau to communicate and exchange the work of cracking down on illegal sand mining in rivers, and thanked the Forest Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau for its long-term strong support for the management of sand mining in rivers throughout the city. Zong Jinwu said that in 2023, he hoped that the two sides would continue to deepen the cooperation mechanism, strengthen law enforcement, severely punish sand-related crimes, and work together to maintain the normal management order of river sand mining in the city. At the meeting, the two sides also communicated and deployed the joint law enforcement of river sand mining this year.
