China Railway No.20 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. held a foundation laying ceremony for a 6,000-ton clinker cement project in Uganda

in Uganda, the foundation laying ceremony was held for the project of Moroto clinker cement production line with a daily output of 6000 tons, the largest clinker cement plant project in Uganda contracted by China Railway 20th Bureau.

Museveni (fourth from the right) laid the foundation for the project. Ugandan President Museveni and several national dignitaries attended the foundation laying ceremony. In his speech, Museveni highly appreciated the Moroto cement production line. He said that the construction of the project would contribute to local economic development and create employment opportunities for the people. In order to improve people's living standards and happiness index, the Ugandan government will actively coordinate various social resources, fully help and support the construction of cement production lines, and ensure that the project is put into operation on schedule. construction equipment, Moroto clinker cement production line project with a daily output of 6000 tons is located in Moroto area in the northeast of Uganda. It is a national key project in Uganda, covering an area of about 610000 square meters. The project makes full use of Moroto's good limestone resources and adopts a new dry pre-decomposition production process. A clinker cement production line with a daily output of 6000 tons will be built. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025, with an annual output of 2.01 million tons of clinker and 1 million tons of cement. After the completion of the

project, it will fill the demand gap of clinker cement in Uganda market, reduce the foreign exchange expenditure generated by imported clinker in Uganda, and provide more than 2500 jobs for the surrounding people. Help Uganda's infrastructure construction and improve people's livelihood.
