Recently, MITCHELLK4, a 7000t/d cement production line project of Mitchell Cement Company designed by Henan Institute of Building Materials, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Mitchell, Indiana, USA, marking that the project has entered the operation stage.
This production line is the first cement production line built in the United States, which completely adopts American standards and is designed and supplied by Chinese design team. The design team of the Institute of Building Materials worked closely with KHD Humboldt Company of Germany as the general contractor of design and procurement to establish a fully articulated structural model, and completed the structural design task with high precision and high standards, which was highly recognized by Penta Company of the United States and Mitchell Cement Company. Since 2019, the design team of the Institute of Building Materials has gone to the United States four times for project exchanges. At the same time, it has overcome the obstacles of serious epidemic and inconvenient communication, and adopted various ways such as remote office and video conference to ensure the smooth progress of the project. The formal operation of this
project marks that China's cement production line technology has opened up the US market. At the same time, it is an important milestone for Henan Institute of Building Materials to further enhance the status and influence of the industry and expand the foreign market. On July 6-7,
