The State Council Work Safety Committee organized and carried out spot checks on the special rectification of major hidden dangers in production safety throughout the country.

According to the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the State Council Security Committee recently organized 20 comprehensive inspection teams led by relevant responsible comrades of the member units of the State Council Security Committee to conduct spot checks on the special rectification and supervision of major hidden dangers in production safety in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps. At present, the comprehensive inspection teams have been stationed in Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places to carry out spot checks.  

It is understood that the special rectification and spot check of major hidden dangers in production safety will focus on the in-depth implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and closely focus on the implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on production safety. Focus on spot checks and inspections of the special rectification of major hidden dangers in various regions, the lessons learned from typical accidents at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, the analysis and judgment of the safety risks of enterprises'resumption of production, and the strengthening of safety production measures in key industries.  

This spot check is carried out by combining comprehensive supervision with open and secret visits. Each group is equipped with experts and journalists, and carries out open and secret visits and random spot checks on enterprises in key industries in light of the actual situation in various regions, so as to guide and assist enterprises in the process of resuming production and work safety, and to carry out in-depth investigation of hidden dangers in production safety. Expose outstanding problems in time and strengthen warning education. The problems found in this spot check will be included in the provincial government's assessment and inspection, together with the supervision and rectification, to promote all regions, relevant departments and enterprises to keep the bottom line of safe production, effectively eliminate major safety risks, and resolutely curb the occurrence of major accidents.
