Dredged Sand in the Comprehensive Dredging and Regulation Project of Fuhe Section of Badu Bridge in Fuzhou City To practice Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization and do a solid job in the management of sand mining in important tributaries of the Yangtze River Basin, Liu Qianlong, deputy director of the River Sand Mining and River and Lake Administration Bureau of the Yangtze River Commission, led a research team to Ji'an, Ganzhou and Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province, from June 13 to 17.

The research team inspected the video conference room of Ji'an City, Xinluling Sandstone Company, Zhoutou Sand Yard of Taihe County, Ji'an City, the mining area along the stream, the centralized berthing point of sand mining vessels, the information supervision platform, the flood control, dredging and regulation project of Ganzhou City, Jinjiang Sand Industry Co., Ltd. of Ganxian District, Ganzhou City, and Luojiang Gaotan Sand Yard of Yudu County, Ganzhou City. On the site of Dagang Mining Area in Linchuan District of Fuzhou City, Fuhe Dredging Comprehensive Regulation Project of Badu Bridge and Information Supervision Platform of Ganfu Building Material Co., Ltd. of Fuzhou City, the unified operation and management of state-owned sand and gravel companies in Ji'an, Ganzhou and Fuzhou, the construction and operation of information platform, the compilation of sand mining planning, the implementation of permission and the dredging were discussed. It has conducted in-depth exchanges with relevant units and put forward guidance.     

Liu Qianlong stressed that Jiangxi is at the forefront of the country in the unified management of river sand mining government and the informationization construction of river sand mining supervision, and has made beneficial innovations and achieved positive results. All localities should correctly understand the importance of river sand and gravel resources in protecting the ecological environment of rivers and ensuring the safety of flood control, navigation, water supply and water projects. To clarify the responsibilities of water conservancy departments in the management of river sand mining, take the initiative to fulfill their supervisory responsibilities, and at the same time, we should always take the people as the center, coordinate the comprehensive benefits of river sand mining and local economy, ecology and society, and build beautiful and happy rivers and lakes.
