Recently, China Construction Western Construction Hunan Co., Ltd. has successfully signed a contract for the expansion project (mixing and transportation) of the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in Hunan Province, with a total contract volume of 700,000 square meters.
It is reported that the expansion project of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway is located in Hengyang and Chenzhou in the south of Hunan Province. It passes through five counties (cities and districts) of Leiyang City, Yongxing County, Suxian District, Beihu District and Yizhang County of Chenzhou. The whole line adopts the standard of eight-lane expressway to rebuild and expand the old road, with a total length of 144.9 km. There are 12 interchanges, 5 service areas, 1 parking area and 3 maintenance work areas. The expansion of the project can better take into account the dual functions of transit transport corridors and development axes along the line, guide the spatial agglomeration and differential development of cities and towns, effectively play the role of comprehensive transport corridors in supporting and guiding the urbanization pattern, and also help the roads to play the role of urban development axes, and improve the regional urban system. It is of great significance to smooth the "cross" passage of highways and waterways in Hunan Province, improve the modern comprehensive transportation system, promote regional economic and social development, and build a modern new Hunan.
