In order to achieve the annual goal of national railway construction, the National Development and Reform Commission convened the 12th National Railway Project Preliminary Work Consultation Meeting on April 11 this year. Among them, the preliminary work such as the feasibility study and preliminary design of the planned new start-up projects has been significantly accelerated. Since this year, five new high-speed rail and three new general speed railway projects have been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission or the State Railway Group.

The planning and latest progress of key high-speed rail projects are summarized as follows (inter-provincial and inter-city projects within the province and not funded by the state are not included in this document):

1. Chongqing-Xiamen Passageway Changsha-Ganzhou High-speed Railway

Chang-Gan high-speed rail is a national "13th Five-Year" railway planning and construction project. The main line is 429.4km long, including 131.8km of Hunan section and 297.0km of Jiangxi section. The estimated total investment is about 75.4 billion yuan, and the planned construction period is 4.

The whole line is planned to set up Changsha West, Huanghua Airport, Liuyang, Shangli, Pingxiang North, Luxi South, Lianhua East, Yongxin South, Jinggang Shandong, Suichuan, Ganzhou North, Ganzhou West and other stations. The feasibility study report of the

project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in September last year, and the preliminary design appraisal and supplementary survey are being carried out. The construction of the whole line is expected to start in the second half of the year.

There are 12 stations along the line: Weifang North, Anqiu, Zhucheng West, Wulian North, Juxian Yishui, Yinan, Linyi North, Lanling, Tancheng West, Xinyi East, Suqian East, Yang Hebei (reserved). The main line length of

Qingdao connecting line is 108. The total investment is 237.

The feasibility study of the project has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission at the end of May this year, and the preliminary design has been reviewed and will be approved. The supplementary survey and construction survey are being carried out along the whole line, and the construction drawing design is being promoted simultaneously. The construction will be officially started before the end of the year.

3. The main line of Zhangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway

is 174.68 kilometers long, including 126.60 kilometers in Fujian Province and 48 kilometers in Guangdong Province. The estimated total investment is 38.9 billion yuan and the planned construction period is 4 years. There are 6 stations on

the whole line: Zhangzhou, Zhangpu, Dongshan, Zhaonan, Raoping South and Shantou. We will strive for the conditions for setting up stations in the east of Shantou.

The National Development and Reform Commission has approved the feasibility study of the project in January this year, the preliminary design has been reviewed, and the location survey and construction drawing design are being carried out. It is expected that the project will be officially started in the second half of the year.

4. The total length of the Hefei-Wuhan section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed rail of the Hefei-Wuhan high-speed railway

along the Yangtze River is 360.5 kilometers, the new double-track is 330.1 kilometers, and the existing Hefei-Wuhan railway is 30.4 kilometers, of which the Anhui section is 166.8 kilometers. Hubei section 163. Estimated total investment 792.

10. Shaoyong high-speed rail of Shaoyang-Yongzhou High-speed Railway

of Hunan Passage is 96 in total length. There are 3 stations along the line: Shaoyang (existing), Shaoyang County and Yongzhou (expansion). The feasibility study of the

project has been jointly approved by the State Railway Group and the People's Government of Hunan Province in May. At present, the relevant work of preliminary design approval is being accelerated, and the construction is expected to start before the end of the year.

11. The section

from Wuwei to Zhangye of the Lanzhou-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail, namely the section from Wuwei to Zhangye of the Lanzhou-Zhangjiakou Line 3 and Line 4, is an important part of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Second high-speed rail Channel. The total length of the line is 243.95 kilometers, the design speed is 250 kilometers per hour, and the planned construction period is 3 years. The total investment estimated by the feasibility study of the project is about 272.Wuwei East Station, Zhuwangbao (Yongchang) Station, Jinchang South Station, Hongwan Station, Shandan North Station and Zhangye West Station are planned to be set
