On June 21, the project of integrated synthesis of green ammonia from wind and solar hydrogen production in Etuoke Banner, Inner Mongolia, was officially started.
Etuoke Banner Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integrated Synthesis Green Ammonia Project was listed in the second batch of demonstration projects of wind and solar hydrogen production in the autonomous region on September 29, 2022, which is the first demonstration project of wind and solar hydrogen production in the autonomous region started in Ordos City. With a total investment of 3.8 billion yuan ,
the project will build a new hydrogen production station with an annual output of 20000 tons of green hydrogen electrolytic water, a supporting 500 MW wind farm and a 220 kW transmission line project with a length of about 60 km; A 5 MW off-grid photovoltaic power generation flexible DC hydrogen production technology innovation project will be built; a green hydrogen synthetic ammonia plant with an annual output of 150,000 tons and a comprehensive station of hydrogenation, refueling and gas charging piles will be built downstream. The annual power generation of the new supporting energy of
the project is about 1.53 billion kilowatt-hours, which can save 0.3 tons of standard coal 459759. There is no waste gas and waste residue in the production process, and the environmental benefits are remarkable. It is a zero-carbon green chemical project.
