MCC17's First Pile Foundation Drilling of Shandong Jiwei Expressway Section III Project

On February 24th, MCC17 successfully completed the drilling of the first pile foundation of the Shandong Jiwei Expressway Section III Project, marking the formal construction of the bridge pile foundation of the Wa-Ri Railway Highway and Railway Overpass.

The project is located in Jinan to Weishan Expressway Jinan to Jining New Airport Section, adopting the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a total length of 21.948 kilometers. It is the northern extension of the ten lines in the planning layout of "nine vertical, five horizontal, seven shooting and multiple links". After completion, it will further optimize the layout of Shandong Expressway Network and bring into play the overall benefits of the road network. It is of great significance to improve regional transportation conditions and build a comprehensive transportation system. The total length of Wari Highway and Railway Interchange Bridge is 1661.1 meters, the width of the standard section single bridge deck is 12.75 meters, and the net width is 11.75 meters. It adopts variable cross-section prestressed concrete T-structure and swivel construction. It is the longest, largest and most complex bridge in this project, and it is also one of the key parts of the whole project construction. The pile foundation is located on the north side of Wari Railway, with a length of 32 meters. It is a friction pile foundation type, and the construction technology is rotary drilling. Combining with the actual situation of construction,

the project team scientifically deployed the plan, carefully refined the tasks, rationally allocated resources, and created good conditions for the development of various processes. In order to ensure the successful completion of the pile foundation drilling, the project department planned ahead of time, refined the connection of various processes, strictly controlled the construction process, and successfully completed the established objectives.
