On February 28, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Statistical Bulletin of the People's Republic of China on National Economic and Social Development in 2022, which showed that the annual cement output in 2022 was 2.13 billion tons, 10.5% lower than previous year.
In 2022, the total industrial added value was 40164.4 billion yuan, an increase of 3.4% over the previous year. Above scale industrial added value increased by 3.6%. Among the industrial enterprises above the designated size, the value-added of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 3.3%, that of share-holding enterprises increased by 4.8%, that of foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises decreased by 1.0%, and that of private enterprises increased by 2.9%. In terms of categories, the mining industry grew by 7.3%, the manufacturing industry by 3.0%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water by 5.0%.
In 2022 , the added value of agricultural and sideline food processing industry increased by 0.7% over the previous year, the textile industry decreased by 2.7%, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 6.6%, the non-metallic mineral products industry decreased by 1.5%, the ferrous metal smelting and calendering industry increased by 1.2%. The general equipment manufacturing industry decreased by 1.2%, the special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 3.6%, the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 6.3%, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 11.9%, the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 7.6%, and the power, thermal production and supply industry increased by 5.1%. Among them, the output of cement was 2.13 billion tons, 10.5% lower than previous year. At the end of
2022, the installed capacity of power generation in China was 2564.05 million kilowatts, an increase of 7.8% over the end of last year. Of this, the installed capacity of thermal power was 1,332.39 million kilowatts, up 2.7%; the installed capacity of hydropower was 41350 million kilowatts, up 5.8%; the installed capacity of nuclear power was 55.53 million kilowatts, up 4.3%; and the installed capacity of grid-connected wind power was 365.44 million kilowatts, up 11.2%; The installed capacity of grid-connected solar power was 392.61 million kilowatts, an increase of 28.1%.
In 2022, the profits of industrial enterprises above designated size were 843.9 billion yuan, down 4.0% from the previous year. From the perspective of different economic sectors, the profits of state holding enterprises were 23792 billion yuan, an increase of 3% over the previous year; the profits of share-holding enterprises were 6,161.1 billion yuan, down by 2.7%; the profits of enterprises invested by foreign investors and investors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan were 2,004 billion yuan, down by 9.5%; and the 26638 of private enterprises was billion yuan, down by 7.2%. In terms of categories, the profits of the mining industry were 1,557.4 billion yuan, up 48.6% over the previous year; the manufacturing industry was 6,415 billion yuan, down 13.4%; the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water was 431.5 billion yuan, up 41.8%. The cost per hundred yuan of business income of industrial enterprises above designated size in the whole year was 84.72 yuan, an increase of 0.91 yuan over the previous year; the profit rate of business income was 6.09%, a decrease of 0.64 percentage points. At the end of the year, the asset-liability ratio of industrial enterprises above designated size was 56.6%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points over the end of last year. The utilization rate of industrial capacity in the whole year was 75.6%.
In 2022, the added value of the construction industry was 8338.3 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5% over the previous year. The profits made by qualified general contracting and specialized contracting construction enterprises were 836.9 billion yuan, down 1.2% from the previous year, of which 392.2 billion yuan were made by state-owned holding enterprises, an increase of 8.4%.
