Steady progress has been made towards the goal of building a world-class material industry investment group.
Focusing on strategic value and innovation-driven, we should
focus on "four orientations", give full play to the role of the national team and the main force, create "national talents" with scientific and technological innovation, and strive to be a good leader in scientific and technological innovation of the material industry. One is to focus on "from 0 to 1" and strengthen the national strategic scientific and technological strength. Actively integrate into the national strategic innovation system, strengthen original and leading scientific and technological research, and independently develop quartz glass, special fibers, carbon fiber composite structural parts, advanced ceramics and crystals, special coatings, etc. To successfully support manned spaceflight, space station, lunar exploration project, Beidou navigation, domestic large aircraft and other "big country heavy equipment". It was selected as the first batch of original technology sources of central enterprises, and innovatively implemented eight reform measures, such as "unveiling the list" and "seed" funds, to help the backbone of science and technology to tackle key problems in innovation. The second is to focus on "from 1 to 100" and strengthen the deep integration of innovation chain and industrial chain. Give full play to the advantages of inorganic non-metallic materials in science and technology and industrial chain, and cultivate new materials industry clusters with world-class standards, such as high-performance glass fibers, high-performance carbon fibers, wind power blades, new glass materials, lithium battery diaphragms, advanced ceramics and crystals, and new graphite materials. It has built 123-meter-long wind power blades, 0.12 mm touch glass, 10 MW thin film photovoltaic building integration projects and other "world's most" projects, which provide key material support for the national strategic landing, and also allow more high-end green intelligent products and services to "fly into ordinary people's homes". China Building Materials has built the largest single carbon fiber manufacturing base of 25000 tons in the world in Xining, which has significantly improved the independent support capability of high-end carbon fibers in China.
Focusing on industrial value and building new quality productivity
at both ends, adhering to the vision of "materials create a better world", through strategic emerging industries and basic building materials at both ends, we will unswervingly promote layout optimization and adjustment, continue new and old kinetic energy, and accelerate the formation of new quality productivity. First, we should focus on "new cloth" and accelerate the development of strategic emerging industries. We will continue to make efforts to optimize the layout, scale and level of strategic emerging industries, and strive to build a gradient industrial pattern of 10 billion, 5 billion, 1 billion and 100 million levels. Initiate the establishment of 15 billion yuan new material industry fund, forward-looking layout of semiconductor large silicon wafers, photovoltaic, photoresist and other new tracks. Zhongfu Shenying and Shandong Tianyue, which invested in shares, became the first carbon fiber enterprise and silicon carbide enterprise respectively. In 2022, the revenue of China's strategic emerging building materials industry exceeded 100 billion yuan, and the total profit and net profit accounted for more than 50%. Second, we should focus on "renewal" and accelerate the upgrading of basic building materials industry. Actively respond to the cyclical impact of transformation and upgrading, grasp the three tail-warping factors of "cement plus", internationalization and "double carbon", accelerate high-end, intelligent and green, and give new vitality to basic building materials. In terms of high-end, more than 60 kinds of special cement, such as low-heat cement, oil well cement and nuclear power cement, have been developed to meet the needs of major construction projects. In terms of intelligence, we have made every effort to build "Digital China Building Materials", built 20 cement intelligent demonstration lines represented by Tai'an Zhonglian, and undertook more than 200 intelligent projects around the world, with the fuel substitution rate of MK3 project in France exceeding 80%. In terms of greening, we built the first dual-carbon public service platform in the raw material industry, started construction of the largest cement oxy-fuel carbon capture project in Qingzhou, Shandong Province, and joined hands with Zhonglin Group to promote the largest carbon trading between central enterprises. Cement kilns dispose of more than 5.3 million tons of hazardous solid waste and garbage annually, becoming the "urban standard" of beautiful China.
Focus on ecological value, promote co-construction, sharing and win-win
through open cooperation, integrate individual value into system value, carry forward the spirit of self-improvement, build a community of destiny and development with stakeholders, and create an enterprise ecosystem with complementary advantages and integrated development. First, we should focus on "collaborative innovation" and tap the potential of cooperation. To build a platform, promote exchanges and increase cooperation with the concept of openness and inclusiveness, we have carried out strategic cooperation with 12 provincial and municipal governments, Sinopec, China Communications Group, China Coal Group, Huawei, Ningde Times and other 21 enterprises in the past three years to create a new paradigm of cooperation. In conjunction with Shandong University and other universities and leading enterprises, we will build a national artificial crystal double-creation base in Jinan, attracting 26 enterprises from upstream and downstream industrial chains to build "China Crystal Valley". We will build an overseas innovation model of "science and technology + industry + service", build overseas joint laboratories in Ethiopia and Egypt, build a Sino-French carbon neutralization center with Holcim France, and explore all-round cooperation with Saudi Aramco in the field of materials. Second, we should focus on "going out" and firmly adhere to the road of internationalization. Adhering to the international market of "the Belt and Road", more than 500 cement and glass projects have been built at a high level, and the overseas distribution of advantageous industries such as basic building materials, glass fibers, wind power blades, new glass materials, lithium battery diaphragms and gypsum boards has been accelerated. The "Good Use of Resources Day" event showed the achievements of China's building materials in participating in the construction of "the Belt and Road" in an all-round way, attracting nearly 100 factories around the world to participate, and more than one million "fans" online and offline.
In the next step, China Building Materials will closely adhere to the new mission and orientation of the central enterprises, focus on making good use of the "two ways", give full play to the "three roles", comprehensively enhance the value creation ability, and constantly make new achievements on the road of accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises.
