Recently, the State Council's Opinions on Promoting Inner Mongolia's High-quality Development and Striving to Write a New Chapter of Chinese-style Modernization were released. It is mentioned in the

opinion to

speed up the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure. We will vigorously promote new industrialization and support Inner Mongolia in fostering and developing advanced manufacturing clusters. We will promote the technological transformation of energy conservation, pollution reduction and carbon reduction in key areas such as iron and steel, non-ferrous metals and building materials, and extend the industrial chain of coal and coke chemical industry, chlor-alkali chemical industry and fluorine and silicon chemical industry. Encourage the optimization and reorganization of enterprises in ferroalloy, coking and other fields. We will develop modern equipment manufacturing industries such as photovoltaic manufacturing and fan manufacturing in an orderly manner, and accelerate the development of new materials such as electronic grade silicon and special alloys. Supporting the layout of national defense science and technology industry projects in Inner Mongolia and promoting the development of civil aviation industry. Promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine (Mongolian medicine), raw materials and other pharmaceutical industries.

We will strengthen the development and utilization of strategic resources such as rare earths. We will support the systematic exploration and evaluation, protective development, high-quality utilization and standardized management of strategic mineral resources in Inner Mongolia, and enhance the support capacity of strategic mineral resources such as rare earth, iron, nickel, copper, tungsten, tin, molybdenum, gold, fluorite, crystalline graphite, lithium, uranium and helium. We will accelerate the development of high-end rare earth functional materials such as high-purity rare earth metals, high-performance rare earth permanent magnets and high-performance polishing. We will expand the application of rare earth catalytic materials in steel, cement, glass, automobiles, thermal power and other industries. We will support Baotou Rare Earth Products Exchange to build a national rare earth products trading center in accordance with the law and regulations, and build Baotou into the largest rare earth new material base in China and the world's leading rare earth application base.
