From 2013 to 2022, Yingkou City has completed a total of 7584.39 mu of abandoned mine treatment area, with a total investment of more than 159 million yuan. In recent years, Yingkou City has attached great importance to the greening of abandoned mines. In March this year, Yingkou City set up a three-year action leading group for the new breakthrough in the greening of abandoned mines in Yingkou City, and organized and compiled the Three-year Action Plan for the New Breakthrough in the Greening of Abandoned Mines in Yingkou City and the Implementation Plan for the Greening of Abandoned Mines in Yingkou City in 2023. From 2023 to 2025, 731 mines will be harnessed in Yingkou City, with a total area of 39131 mu. It is expected that in 2025, Yingkou City will complete the task of greening abandoned mines. of Yingkou Natural Resources Bureau said that the current implementation of Yingkou 2023 historical abandoned mine restoration project and Gaizhou historical abandoned industrial and mining land comprehensive renovation project has completed the bidding work, and has now entered the construction site. Up to now, the total area of mine greening in the city is 2734 mu. Among them, 1471 mu has been treated through greening, 40460 trees have been planted, 1214 mu has been transformed and utilized, and 50 mu has been naturally restored.
In the next step, Yingkou Natural Resources Bureau will focus on overall research, market-oriented and diversified ecological restoration work, and strive to build a new pattern of overall management of historical mines in the city, so as to enhance the economic and social benefits of the management project.
