National Bureau of Statistics recently showed that coal prices across the country continued to rise in early October. The specific price changes of each type of coal are as follows:
the price of anthracite (washed medium lump) is 1463.8 yuan/ton, up 1.3 tons or 0.1% from the previous period. The price of
ordinary blended coal (calorific value 4500 kcal) was 771.0 yuan/ton, up 16.8 yuan/ton from the previous period, or 2.2%.
Shanxi mixed (calorific value 5000 kcal) price was 921.3 yuan/ton, up 37.1 yuan/ton from the previous period, or 4.2%. The price of
Shanxi Youhe (calorific value 5500 kcal) was 1031.3 yuan/ton, up 37.1 yuan/ton from the previous period, or 3.7%. The price
of Datong blended coal (calorific value 5800 kcal) was 1088.0 yuan/ton, up 39.2 yuan/ton from the previous period, or 3.7%. The price of
coking coal (main coking coal) was 2250.0 yuan/ton, up 33.3 yuan/ton from the previous period, or 1.5%.
From the above data, we can see that in early October, the prices of all kinds of coal in the country continued to rise.
Coal is the main fuel in the process of cement production, and its cost accounts for 50% ~ 55% of the cost of cement clinker . The fluctuation of coal price has a direct impact on the cost of cement. In the
cement market, after the National Day holiday, the cement market was expected to improve in terms of demand, coupled with the pressure on the cost side, cement enterprises generally had the willingness to raise prices, and the national cement price index showed a slight upward trend.
