This is also the first time in the world to achieve continuous operation and non-stop operation on the railway in operation, to achieve "immediate replacement and opening to traffic", filling the technical gap of the world railway industry in the construction of full-span beam replacement and the completion of on-line operation in the "skylight period", and providing safe and reliable equipment and complete technical support for the rapid maintenance and iteration of existing railways in China. "Taihang" has reached 155,000 kilometers by the end of 2022, according to the latest data. However, the existing railway lines in operation in China can be traced back to the late Qing Dynasty, and the ordinary speed railways in many areas have gone through more than half a century of operation cycle, of which more than 40% of the railway bridges have been used for more than 30 years, so the demand for beam replacement is very urgent.
"The existing railway beam replacement technologies in the world are mainly bench traverse beam replacement, gantry crane beam replacement and other ways, which are limited to specific application scenarios." Wu Jingpeng, head of the beam replacement project of the Fifth Railway Institute, said that the existing beam replacement technology requires long-term disconnection and rerouting for construction, which has an impact on railway traffic organization and operation safety, and can not meet the beam replacement tasks under special circumstances such as high piers, complex topography, no construction bench and operation site.
In order to break through the limitation of the existing construction technology of beam replacement, the world's first integrated machine of beam replacement and transportation, Taihang, developed jointly by the Fifth Railway Institute and Shuohuang Railway Company of the State Energy Group, came into being at the historic moment. The existing beams shall be lifted and loaded in the whole hole, and the new beams shall be erected and finely adjusted in place. After the line is restored, the old beams shall be transported away by the all-in-one machine. After the replacement of the beam, the line was tamped by a large machine and quickly resumed operation. The equipment has the integrated construction capability to meet the existing railway operation conditions and complex working conditions, and can efficiently complete the construction of beam replacement within 4 hours of "skylight period" under operation conditions.
"Taihang" adopts the marshalling operation mode of "two cars clamping one machine", and initiates the design concept of "folding type", which has the function of "changing and transporting the whole machine", and the folding state meets the requirements of railway transportation without land requisition for construction. The construction is not affected by the surrounding environment, and there is no need to relocate the auxiliary facilities such as the catenary, which is suitable for the beam replacement operation under various complex working conditions. The beam replacement process and construction personnel are greatly reduced, and the overall efficiency of beam replacement is three times higher than that of the traditional construction method, so as to truly realize the immediate opening of traffic. Shuohuang Railway is the second largest channel for transporting coal from west to east in China. Huanghua Port is the largest coal launching port in China. on the main line of Shuohuang Railway. The Shuohuang Railway of the State Energy Group starts from Shuozhou Station in Shanxi Province in the west and ends at Huanghua Port in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, the "largest sea port" for coal transportation in China. It is an important channel for coal transportation from west to east in China and also the main railway collection and distribution channel for Huanghua Port.
