It is reported that the drill combines the theme of "everyone talks about safety and everyone meets emergency" in 2023 Safety Production Month, aiming at resolving major risks of water traffic safety and effectively curbing water traffic safety accidents, and is divided into three drill subjects and six contents. The drill focused on the construction of sand ship scenario in Jinghai sand quarry, simulating the background of Typhoon 202302 "Mawa" frontal attack on Jieyang Port Area, and the sand ship "Zhongshun *" caused the engine room generator to be overloaded and caught fire due to the passing typhoon thunder and lightning rainstorm, the fire spread rapidly and could not be controlled, the personnel abandoned the ship to escape, and the personnel accidentally fell into the water in the process. After the tense and rapid linkage of maritime and marine comprehensive law enforcement departments, rescue ships and nearby boats were coordinated to participate in the rescue, and the danger was successfully resolved.
The drill process was tense and orderly, the organization was orderly, and the drill tasks were completed safely and smoothly, and the expected results were achieved. The drill effectively tests the rationality and feasibility of various contingency plan of water traffic safety, exercises the coordination and response skills of rescue teams in emergency disposal, improves the coordination and cooperation ability of participating units, enhances the comprehensive emergency response ability, and provides a strong security guarantee for the stability of water traffic safety situation and high-quality economic development in the jurisdiction.
