Annual disposal of 50,000 tons of solid waste and hazardous waste! Jidong Cement-Cement Kiln Comprehensive Utilization of Solid Waste and Hazardous Waste Project Completed and Put into Operation

Recently, the project of comprehensive utilization of solid waste and hazardous waste in cement kiln of Jidong Cement Co., Ltd. in Linli County, with a total investment of 78.4675 million yuan and an annual reception and utilization of 50000 tons of solid waste and hazardous waste, has been completed and put into operation.

The project is located in Xin'an Town, Linli County, Changde City, covering an area of about 27 mu. Construction started on October 1, 2021, and the hazardous waste business license issued by the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hunan Province was obtained on February 2, 2023. After the project is put into operation, 10000 tons of general solid waste and 40000 tons of hazardous waste can be received and utilized annually, and the types of hazardous waste for comprehensive utilization include 9 categories and 63 sub-categories of the National Hazardous Waste List (2021 edition). The large-scale project, advanced solid waste disposal technology and complete types of hazardous waste disposal have far-reaching significance for promoting the coordinated development of social economy and ecological environment in Changde area.

According to the relevant person in charge of Linli Jidong Cement Co., Ltd., the construction of the project includes auxiliary projects such as new solid waste storage, SMP solid waste pretreatment and transportation workshop, and environmental protection projects, using advanced technology and equipment, 24 hours on-line monitoring, so that each minimum unit of hazardous waste can be traced back to the source in the whole process, and the project will be completed. The safety situation of each production link is clear at a glance. The project takes advantage of the characteristics of high temperature, large incineration space and long residence time of cement kiln to solve the problem of solid waste disposal and successfully achieve the goal of "reduction, recycling and harmlessness" of solid waste disposal.

At present, cooperation intentions have been reached with a number of enterprises. The daily treatment capacity of the project is 130-150 tons of solid waste and hazardous waste. It is estimated that 25,000 tons of solid waste and hazardous waste can be treated this year.
