The expert group inspected the promotion of fair-faced concrete in Mashan Open Section, investigated the command and dispatch center of Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Southern Expressway, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the implementation team, and agreed that the establishment work passed the acceptance. He said that the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China once again emphasized the core position of innovation in the overall situation of China's modernization construction, and made important arrangements for improving the scientific and technological innovation system. The popularization and application of scientific and technological achievements is an important link in the chain of scientific and technological innovation. Scientific and technological workers in the industry should conscientiously implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, fully implement the relevant requirements of the 2022 National Conference on Scientific and Technological Innovation in Transportation, and further play the role of the carrier of scientific and technological demonstration projects. To build a platform, promote research and development, cultivate industry, train talents and condense standards with the engineering application of innovative achievements, and to be a pioneer in China's modernization with the help of scientific and technological innovation. transportation science and technology is an important grasp and carrier for the Ministry to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, support the construction of major projects and serve the implementation of major strategies. In order to give full play to the driving role of scientific and technological innovation in accelerating the construction of a strong transportation country, since 2020, based on the positioning of the demonstration project as "the support of regional strategy, the hub of achievement transformation, the platform of scientific and technological research and development, the channel of technological exchange and the base of scientific and technological popularization", the Ministry has built a "model room" for the popularization and application of scientific and technological achievements, focusing on safety. Twenty-one demonstration projects have been set up.
In 2020, the "Super Long Weir Building Taihu Tunnel Science and Technology Demonstration Project" recommended by Jiangsu Transportation Department and led by Jiangsu Transportation Engineering Construction Bureau was approved. Over the past two years, relying on the Taihu Tunnel Project, the implementing units have carried out research on the settlement mode of the lake-bottom tunnel, the coupling effect of structural internal forces, the cracking of underwater mass concrete and the seepage mechanism, focusing on the improvement of the durability of the lake-bottom tunnel structure, the quality control of the construction of the lake-bottom tunnel by weir construction method, and the safety guarantee of the operation of the super-long lake-bottom tunnel. The research and development of technologies such as long-life tunnel pavement, provention and control of mass concrete cracks, in-situ resource utilization of lake bottom silt, ventilation and dust removal of lake bottom expressway tunnel, BIM + GIS collaborative management and control were organized, and the technologies of fair-faced concrete construction and tail gas degradation seal were popularized and applied. It has achieved the effects of no penetrating cracks in the concrete of the main structure of the tunnel, anti-seepage up to the secondary standard, the design life of the tunnel pavement is 30 years, the "zero waste" of the lake bottom silt, and the energy consumption and emission of the tunnel pavement are reduced by 30% compared with the traditional construction technology. A number of technical guidelines and provincial and ministerial construction methods have been formed, such as "Technical Guidelines for Waterproof Construction of Weir Construction Method Tunnel" and "Double Trolley Linkage Rapid Construction Method for Porous Frame Structure of Large Section Lake Bottom Tunnel".
