Conch Group Chairman Yang Jun Visits Wuhan University of Technology

Xin Sijin, on behalf of the school, warmly welcomed Yang Jun and his delegation to the school for exchanges, and introduced the situation of the school from the aspects of discipline construction, personnel training, innovative research and development capabilities, and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. He said that Conch Group is the "pacesetter" in the building materials industry. He hoped that on the basis of good cooperation, the two sides would give full play to their respective advantages, take joint technological research as an opportunity, jointly explore new ways of integration of industry and education in terms of platform co-construction, project co-research, talent co-education and resource sharing, and form a new situation of mutual benefit and win-win situation, so as to serve the national strategy and contribute more to the development of the industry.

Yang Jun briefly introduced the operation and development of the Group. He said that Wuhan University of Technology has distinctive industry characteristics, rapid development and strong scientific research ability, and has provided a large number of outstanding talents for Conch Group for many years. He hoped that the two sides would further deepen cooperation, establish a special and regular docking mechanism, strengthen in-depth cooperation between industry, University and research, and promote win-win situation.

The two sides reviewed the course of cooperation and conducted in-depth exchanges on accelerating advanced technology cooperation, R & D platform construction, project declaration and personnel training.

Before the meeting, Yang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Conch Group, held talks with Yang Zongkai, President of Wuhan University of Technology, and visited the National Engineering Research Center for Optical Fiber Sensing Technology and Network and the State Key Laboratory of Silicate Building Materials.
