On June 19, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shandong Province announced the results of the performance rating of key industries with heavy pollution weather in 2022. In order to actively and effectively respond to heavily polluted weather, further highlight precise pollution control, scientific pollution control and pollution control according to law, and ensure the health of the people, according to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's "Technical Guidelines for Emergency Emission Reduction Measures in Key Industries of Heavily Polluted Weather (Revised Edition 2020)" and "Performance Grading of Key Industries of Heavily Polluted Weather". In line with the principles of openness, fairness, impartiality and transparency, the Shandong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment organized the review of enterprises in key industries which have been assessed as B (including B-) and above in 2020 and 2021, and the performance rating of enterprises in key industries newly declared in 2022, which were self-evaluated by enterprises, audited by data and on-site verification. In 2022, the province identified 69 A-level enterprises, 293 B (including B-) enterprises and 203 performance-leading enterprises.
