At the construction site of Shibugeng Interchange Overpass of Hohhot Airport Expressway in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the pier part has been basically completed and the overall prototype has taken shape. As the weather warms up, the project has completed all preparations for the resumption of production, and the upper part of the bridge is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
"This year, the project plans to complete the investment of 4 billion yuan, striving to complete the bridge surface paving by the end of the year, to achieve through." Fu Erquan, deputy general manager of Hohhot New Airport Expressway Management Company, said that the expressway is an important highway passageway from Hohhot to the new airport, Helingeer New Area, Qingshuihe County and Ordos City, with a total length of 29.4 km and a total investment of about 10 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, the urban area of Hohhot can be seamlessly connected with the airport expressway through the urban expressway network, so as to realize the rapid access between the urban area and the new airport within 30 minutes.
This year, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will make every effort to build a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network that runs from east to west, from north to south, from Beijing to eight provinces, from border to sea, and from urban and rural areas, focusing on networking, repairing networks and strengthening chains, to accelerate the landing of major projects, with an investment of 35 billion yuan planned for the whole year, 62 major projects implemented and a construction scale of 10000 kilometers. During the year, 26 projects and 2327 kilometers were completed.
Inner Mongolia will speed up the construction of the east-west inter-provincial highway to ensure the completion of the east-west highway from Hulun Buir to Alashan in 2024; build the highways from Hailar to Manzhouli and from Erlianhot to Saihantala, and realize the connection of the two comprehensive hub ports; Construction of 4 projects from Lujing to Tianshuijing of National Highway 331 will be started to ensure that the entire 3,600-kilometer national highway along the border will be completed and open to traffic in 2024; 15 projects to eliminate "broken roads" will be implemented, 8 of which will be eliminated within the year to speed up the elimination of "bottleneck roads" and "broken roads" of national and provincial trunk highways; 5,000 kilometers of rural roads will be built to speed up the construction of an integrated urban and rural traffic network; Speed up the construction of transportation hub, promote the development of multimodal transport, and effectively reduce logistics costs.
In order to successfully accomplish the goal, the Transportation Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has formulated a list of key tasks for this year, and adopted the methods of weekly dispatch, monthly summary and quarterly notification to track the progress of the project; Keep a close eye on the problems and difficulties, adopt the method of "three crosses and one advance", speed up the approval of project construction land formalities, increase the financing and implementation of construction funds, and timely issue subsidies from the state and autonomous regions.
