Photovoltaic panels in Zhangzhou, Fujian, go to Xinjiang by train

Zhangzhou North-Aksu, Xinjiang, the first Fujian "photovoltaic" train departure! On the afternoon of February 20, a new energy product in Dongshan sailed to the northwest of the motherland on the "Dongfeng". The departure of

this "photovoltaic" train once again witnessed the "speed" of less than a year from signing the contract to putting into operation. Dongshan Yidao New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and an area of 326 mu, is located in Dongshan Photovoltaic New Energy Technology Industrial Park. It is jointly established by Zhangfa New Energy, Yidao New Energy (Quzhou) and Dongshan Development Investment Group under Zhangzhou Development. It is the only photovoltaic module manufacturing enterprise in the southeast of our province.

The project was signed in November 2021, and after it was officially put into operation in October last year, orders continued to flow until June this year. At present, enterprises are stepping up the construction of the second phase of the project to expand production capacity.

According to Jiang Mingfu, the head of Zhangzhou Train Depot, the train from Zhangzhou to Aksu has a total transportation mileage of about 5102 kilometers, with a cargo weight of 1228.5 tons and a value of 37.518 million yuan. It is the first time that a new energy train has been used to transport photovoltaic panels to Xinjiang. It is expected to arrive at its destination in six days.

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the train, the railway department has taken the initiative to connect with corporate customers and tailor-made transportation plans. In view of the transportation difficulties such as large volume of photovoltaic panels, high difficulty in loading and unloading, and fear of humidity, the railway department has made every effort to do a good job in preventing moisture damage and loading reinforcement of goods to meet the transportation needs.
